My time

Today, folks, it’s about me. This post is really just for me, but hey, maybe you need to hear it, too.

Perseverance isn’t just a robot on Mars. Well, it is, but I already posted about that.

Too many days I have been over run with Imposter Syndrome. I can’t blog! I have no time! No ideas! SOMEBODY MAY BE BETTER THAN ME.

Eh, with the whining already! So, I took a moment and picked up one of the many books I am struggling through in this pandemic. It happens to be Glennon Doyle’s Untamed. And I’m still at the beginning. But it did inspire me to get my butt here and post something. Anything. Just start.

So, I walked out to check the mail. It is really lovely here today, by the way. Our local free newspaper, which I mostly regard as immediate recycling material, caught my eye. “Atlanta Science Festival Highlights Women in STEM.”

Whelp.

That’s ME. I am a woman in STEM. I love it! I also love the Atlanta Science Festival and haven’t signed up for near enough things. So, after many forgotten passwords and trying to figure this contraption out, here I am. Reminding myself that I am not perfect, but dang if I don’t know and love STEM. And I know a few things, too.

So that’s it, that’s the post today. I’ll definitely be more active on social media for awhile until I get my feet planted, but it’s the journey and stuff, right?

And if you feel the same way about something, just remember that old familiar:
